Toronto Surprise Proposal Photographer: Octavia + Dwight

Dwight messaged me a few months ago from North Carolina, USA about me photographing a surprise proposal to his girlfriend, Octavia.  We exchanged a few emails to get the planning on point and on a hot summer day at in Toronto at Casa Loma we got it started.  Octavia’s birthday was around the corner and she thought it was a birthday photography package Dwight got for her. Once we got to the spot where Dwight wanted to propose, I had Octavia face the wall and I told her to turn around and whip her hair for some portraits.  While she stood there, Dwight got down on one knee and took out the ring.  When Octavia turned around for the photo she was utterly and thoroughly surprised and then she said “yes” 😀  We then continued on with the now “engagement” photos.
