Let’s re-visit Mexico, shall we? The very next day after shooting Katie and David’s wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, we went back to the beach for their Day after Session. It had thunder stormed that day but the skies had cleared up fast. Our only issue was the quickly fading light. I shot the session on my Pentax 645n medium format camera and used Fuji 400H film. All the shots are at 1/30th and 1/15th of a second so in a way I’m happy that they came out at all. I could also call this session a Splash the Dress photoshoot as Katie decided that she won’t trash her dress after all. 🙂 Here are some photos.
Great work, absolutley love the last one. The sky looks epic in the back ground and the reflection of them in the wet sand is amazing.
This was my final wedding of 2014 and it was one of my favourite to document. It was a pleasant mid-autumn day, just west of Toronto, and full of those awesome fall colours. The Ceremony was at the Glenerin Inn followed by the Reception. I had a fantastic time photographing this wedding as Stephanie and Todd are two very kind and wonderful people. The party then moved to the dance floor and everybody had a blast. It once again made me realize why I love doing what I do. And that’s to tell stories through imagery. A wedding is definitely up there in terms of being memorable in people’s lives and to be able to be there and capture those moments is an amazing feeling. Here are some photos from that day.
I have been shooting at the U of T campus in downtown Toronto quite a bit recently and I have no problem with that! Its vast and offers countless photo opportunities. Here I have photographed Ali, Kat, Nick and Gabi who are all siblings. Ali brought her boyfriend, Marc-André, to join them as well. It was a chilly day but the autumn colours were amazing. Here are some photos from this session.
We love them!!! It was really fun shooting with you and we’re excited to surprise our parents with a bunch of these framed for Christmas!
