Each and every Baptism that I document is special.  This Ceremony perhaps was even more so as the father and son were both Baptized.  This event was held at a Macedonian Orthodox Church just west of Toronto.  Here are some photos from the day.Macedonian Orthodox Church in Toronto Baptism photographyMacedonian Orthodox Church in Toronto Baptism photographyMacedonian Orthodox Church in Toronto Baptism photographyMacedonian Orthodox Church in Toronto Baptism photographerMacedonian Orthodox Church in Toronto Baptism photographerMacedonian Orthodox Church in Toronto Baptism photographersToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographerOrthodox Baptism Photographer in TorontoToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographyMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photographer in TorontoOrthodox Baptism Photography in TorontoMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photographer in TorontoToronto Orthodox Baptism photographerToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographersToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographerMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photographer in TorontoOrthodox Baptism Photography in TorontoToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographerOrthodox Baptism Photography in TorontoToronto Orthodox Baptism photographyToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographerMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photography in TorontoToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographyToronto Orthodox Baptism photographyMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photographer in TorontoToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographersToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographyToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographerMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photography in TorontoOrthodox Baptism Photographer in TorontoOrthodox Baptism Photographer in TorontoToronto Orthodox Baptism photographerToronto Macedonian Orthodox Church Baptism PhotographersMacedonian Orthodox Baptism photography in TorontoToronto Orthodox Baptism photography

I had a wonderful time documenting Cristina and James’ wedding in Toronto.  It was a slightly chilly day and I remember wishing that I had brought my hat during the Bride and Groom portraits we took after their Ceremony.  You can’t really tell from the photos but the couple was kinda frozen.  They were troopers though and the warmth they have for each other must have radiated some extra heat and let us get these pictures.  As you scroll through these images you can see a little bit of the story of their wedding day.Toronto Wedding PhotographerWedding Dress and shoes photographyToronto Getting Ready wedding photographersToronto Getting Ready wedding photographyToronto Getting Ready wedding photographyToronto Getting Ready wedding photographyGetting Ready Toronto Wedding PhotographerToronto Getting Ready wedding photographySt. Peter’s Church in TorontoToronto St. Peter’s Church Wedding PhotographerSt. Peter’s Church in TorontoToronto Church Wedding Photographer at St. Peter’sBride walking down aisle to get marriedSt. Peter’s Church Photography in TorontoToronto Ceremony Wedding Photography St. Peter’s ChurchPutting on the ring wedding CeremonyToronto Church Ceremony wedding photographerToronto Church Ceremony wedding photographyToronto Bridal Party Wedding PhotographyToronto Bridal Party Wedding PhotographerToronto Film Wedding Photographer Contax G2 Portra 400 The Find LabWedding Photographer in TorontoWedding Photographers in TorontoToronto Wedding Portrait PhotographerToronto Portrait wedding photographyToronto St. PeterWedding Cake by Staij and CoStaij and Co Wedding CakeToronto Reception Portrait Wedding PhotographerToronto Reception Portrait wedding photographyToronto Reception Portrait wedding photographyBride and Groom at Reception wedding photographyToronto First Dance Wedding PhotographyToronto First Dance Wedding PhotographerToronto Documentary Wedding First Dance photographyToronto Photojournalism Wedding First Dance photographyToronto Reception Portrait wedding photographyToronto Reception wedding photographyToronto Reception Dancing wedding photographyToronto Reception Dancing wedding photographerToronto Bouquet Toss Wedding PhotographyToronto Reception Dancing wedding photographyToronto Reception Dancing wedding photographyToronto Reception Dancing wedding photographyToronto Reception Dancing wedding photography

We had planned to do this engagement shoot half in a park and the other half at a couple of bars that had symbolic meaning to the couple.  Upon showing up Erynn tells me “forget the park, we don’t even go to parks”.  So there’s that 🙂  We ended going to a couple of bars, drinking some beer and taking some photos.  In between bars we took more photos along the way.  Saro and Erynn are a very easy-going couple as you can probably tell from the photos.  They are also musicians who play in band called Molly’s Chamber.  Check em’ out!  I shot this session on my Canon 5D Mark II camera with 24mm and 50mm lenses. I also shot a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 on my 35mm film camera – the Contax G2.  Scanned by the fab folks at The Find Lab.  Here are a couple of my favourite photos from this session.Toronto Film Engagement photographer Contax G2 Ektar 100 The Find LabEngagement photographer in Toronto Contax G2 The Find Lab Ektar 100Toronto Engagement photographyEngagement photos by Toronto PhotographerFun Engagement photos in TorontoToronto Engagement portrait photographerReflection in Bar Engagement photography in TorontoToronto engagement picturesToronto engagement photosEngagement pics in TorontoEngagement photographer in TorontoEngagement photogeraphers in Toronto

I travelled to Havana, Cuba in March of 2016 with my wife and 3yr old son.  We stayed at a resort about 25km from Havana. Originally we had hoped to stay at some Airbnb place in Old Havana, but we found out they don’t allow Canadians to book on that site in Cuba.  Hopefully next time we visit this amazing country those restrictions will be lifted.  Staying at the resort was nice with good food, drinks and of course the beach.  But I really wanted to see and photograph Havana.  The first time I went to Havana was via taxi which was a classic American car.  As we got closer to the city I seriously felt that I had gone back in time about 50 or 60 years.  Old Havana is amazing. It is truly a photographer’s dream.  You have colourful old crumbling buildings, vibrant American cars and of course the Cuban people.  I will definitely revisit this wonderful city again as there is still so much to see and experience.

I shot everything on my Contax G2 35mm film camera.  I used Portra 160, Portra 400, Portra 800 and Kodak Ektar 100.  The Find Lab did an amazing job scanning and developing these so that I had very little to do with them afterwards.  I used the Zeiss 28mm and Zeiss 45mm lenses for these pictures.  Here are some photos from the trip.
