Another year, another trip to Montreal. I always have a fabulous time there on these travels. Along with my wife and 2.5yr old son, we took the VIA Train on a 5-hour journey from Toronto. The weather wasn’t the best as half the time it was windy, cold and raining. However, we made the best of it and did lots of walking around when the weather was good. I shoot both film and digital, but lately for all my travels and personal projects I have shot just film. It speaks to me in a different way that my Canon gear never has. The results from my Pentax 645n medium format camera are simply amazing to me. In this case I shot Kodak Ektar 100 film and that film is best on sunny days with lots of colour. I wish we had stayed longer and/or the weather was a bit better as there were some missed opportunities to document other parts of Old Montreal. No worries, there is always next year 🙂 This was scanned by Caribou Film Lab in Toronto.
