I’ll just start off by saying Megan and Bojan rock. They are awesome. Fun, down-to-Earth, super kind people they are. Weddings can be long sometimes and when you photograph for 14-16 hours it definitely helps when the couple is so great to work with. Makes my job 10x easier and so much more enjoyable. But enough about them. Lets talk about the rest of the day. We did our portraits in the Distillery District which is just east of downtown Toronto. The day was very hot with a mix of sun and cloud. So halfway through our shoot Megan and Bojan stopped at an outdoor bar and we all had a drink and a nice little break. You can see in the photos below where they take a selfie after they made their drink order. The Ceremony was held outside and its a lovely venue with reddish-brown bricks and hanging lights. Afterwards the Reception was held at Archeo Restaurant. There were speeches, drinking and then dancing followed by more drinking. A fantastic night. Congratulations, once again, guys and thanks very much for having me.
Most of these photos were shot on my digital Canon 5D and 5D2 cameras. I did shoot 2 rolls of Kodak Ektar 100 on my Contax G2 – 35mm film camera. Thanks to The Find Lab for scanning those. Here are some of my favourite photos from the day. It is a long post so I do urge you to make yourself a coffee or pour yourself a beer. You won’t regret it, I promise. Cheers.
