Recently I photographed a 1st Communion Day for Jack & Julian in Toronto. It consisted of taking getting-ready portraits at their house followed by Reception photos at St. George Golf & Country Club. I wasn’t able to photograph at the Church as those are generally prohibited for this particular Ceremony. I had photographed Jack’s older brother’s 1st Communion 2 years ago, so it was very nice to see this family 2 years later and document another milestone in their lives. Here are some favourite portraits and candid shots from that day.

Sarah - Such handsome little guys! Love that last shot!
Petey - i had to do a photo shoot recently. And in some ways photography is more difficult than video. Both have to find an excellent frame, with the right light and parameters set just so, but in photography you have to capture that one instant that will convey the whole atmosphere. So looking at those I see it and respect it. That is the professional level. When emotion is caught.
Albert Palmer - Lovely coverage Paul – I bet they’ll treasure these forever
Kristian - Great stuff man, and second what Albert said, sure they’ll treasure these forever.
Teresa K - What a wonderfully documented milestone Paul…well done!!
Jason - These little dudes are awesome – also love your sneaky shot of the photographer!
Justin R - Great shots, Paul! The family will have such an important occasion captured in a truly beautiful and professional way!
Heather Kanillopoolos - What a cutie!! I adore the first black and white!
Mark Dowie - Great work. The photographs are beautiful and they really tell a great story. Very impressed with your work.
