Photographing a Baptism at a Greek Orthodox Church is a beautiful thing. Not only are the Churches full of colour, light and magnificence but the babies get fully immersed into the Holy water. St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in downtown Toronto is no different. Unfortunately for Naia, this divine event was rather difficult for her. At just 10 months old, being immersed 3 times and then annointed with oil was fairly traumatic, and she pretty much was in tears throughout the ordeal. After the Baptism we went to the nearby Rosewater restaurant on Toronto St. for the Reception. Naia had a nap and seemed to be in fine spirits as all the guests and family members did their very best to make her smile and have a little fun. Here are some photos from this day.
